Charlie Chernak

My name is Charlie Chernak. I’m a Real Estate Broker and a Licensed Land Surveyor. I own Bear Island Land Co. and Bear Island Surveying here in Ely, Minnesota. I’ve been living in Ely since 1982. I moved here as a young surveyor and worked on the Superior National Forest for thirteen years. I started Bear Island Land Co. in 1995 and Bear Island Surveying in 1998.

My contribution to this blog will mostly involve aspects of buying and selling of rural recreational properties; Including lake homes, lakeshore, country homes, and undeveloped land. I will also be providing input regarding land surveying issues as they relate to the buying and selling of property in Northern Minnesota.
